The Market Update – Renewables with Lisa Maro in Gippsland was a focused networking and briefing event that brought together the local supply chain, EPCs, manufacturers, and service providers to unpack the current and emerging renewables project pipeline, with a particular focus on Gippsland and the wider Victorian supply chain.
Hosted by ICN Victoria and sponsored by The Fair Co., this in-person event was held in Gippsland and attracted attendees from across the state’s wind, solar, and storage sectors.
The session was led by Lisa Maro, a highly regarded supply chain specialist, whose one-to-one consultations were delivered in this group format to maximise reach and impact for the supply chain.
Event overview
Victoria’s renewable energy transition continues to accelerate, with more than 60 government-funded and private developer projects in various stages of development, from onshore wind and solar through to batteries.
At this market update, attendees heard the latest on Marinus Link and other key projects, as well as how these investments are reshaping opportunities for Gippsland and Victorian suppliers.
ICN Victoria also outlined how suppliers can use the Local Content Calculator to update project data, helping improve reporting against Local Jobs First (LJF) requirements and ensuring local capability is visible to project owners and government.
The session was designed to demonstrate how local businesses can position themselves to participate.
